This dessert of strawberries with cream actually comes originally from England, and it has come a long way. Today it is a wifely beloved, traditional dessert that has permeated Mexican culture. If you travel to Mexico you`ll come across practically everywhere, including the supermarket.

Equipment

  • Paper towel
  • Mixing bowl
  • Wire whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 250 grams Strawberries the fresher the better, make sure that they’re disinfected
  • ½ cup Water
  • ½ cup Condensed milk or sugar either white or brown

For the cream

  • you can buy ready-made from the store, just make sure that it’s low on salt
  • 3/4 cups Sour cream
  • ¼ cup Whipped cream
  • 1 tbs Vanilla
  • Cinnamon
  • Fresh mint

Instructions
 

  • Wash the strawberries. Wash the strawberries thoroughly and dry them well with a paper towel.
  • Cut the strawberries. Cut them into small slices if you’re using big strawberries, or regular sizes if they’re smaller sized.
  • Mix ingredientes. In the mixing bowl add in the cream, or creams if you're using different kinds, to mix them together first, then add all the other ingredients, excluding the strawberries. Then you need to whisk the ingredients pretty well until you get a thin kind of sauce.
  • Divide mix. Now, you can add in the strawberries and then you mix it all together again.
  • Serve. Serve it in a bowl with a big spoon so that everyone can help themselves to the portions that they would like.
  • To make it a more visually appealing experience, you can also divide the mixture into separate portions by pouring the mixture into transparent cups. In this manner, everybody can enjoy the lush appearance of the red strawberries through the container that they are eating from.
