Method
Brown the Beef
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned (about 6–8 minutes).
Drain excess grease.
- Season the Meat
Add:
- Taco seasoning
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Stir well to coat the beef in flavor. Set aside.
Make the Cheese Base
In a large saucepan over low heat:
- Melt cream cheese
- Stir in sour cream and milk until smooth and creamy
Add the Cheese
Gradually sprinkle in:
- Shredded cheddar
- Mozzarella
- Stir constantly until melted and gooey.
Combine & Finish
- Stir in the seasoned beef and crumbled bacon.
- Taste and adjust with salt and black pepper if needed.
Garnish & Serve
Top with:
- Extra bacon
- Fresh chopped parsley
- Serve warm with sturdy tortilla chips or sliced baguette.
