Method
- Mix all the condiments in the bowl.
- Let the mix rest in a container for 6 months or more. The longer the time, the more flavorful your seasoning will be.
- Add canola oil to a skillet and cook the steaks on both sides.
- Mix the two to three tablespoons of seasoning with a cup of water. Pour the seasoning on the steak. Cook everything until the liquid is hardly visible.
- Warm the tortillas on a comal or on another skillet.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet. Cut them into medium size pieces.
- Place the steaks on the tortillas and you're all set.
- Serve the tacos with beans or pico de Gallo.
Notes
To make sure that the seasoning is kept fresh, choose a container with a lid that closes hermetically. Keep the container in a place with a homogeneous room temperature, where it is neither too hot nor cold. Accordingly, the kitchen might not be the best place to store the seasoning.
